For Elise

Hi there,

Today I have for you little project I have made for my friend. She’s a singer and music is very important in her life. I thought that personalised notebook will be a good present, she can jot down some ideas when muse strikes …

It is rather simple project that will take no longer than 1,5 h to make.

You will need:

  • 2 pieces of rigid card stock (I used piece of craft packaging box) measuring 10,5 x 15 cm for the base of the covers;
  • For the inside of the cover I used two pieces of 218g Stampin’Up card stock measuring 10 x 14,5 cm;
  • 2 pieces of designer paper to decorate the covers of your notebook (cut your paper slightly bigger than the base to fold over for a clean look);
  • Regular printer paper for inside pages (for that size book cut A4 page in half and the two half in half again, you can make as many pages for your book as you want) to make the pages more decorative I stamped some of them;
  • Bind it All Machine and wire to bind the cover and the pages together;
  • Scraps of paper and embellishments of your choice to decorate and personalize the look of your notebook;
  • Ranger Distress inks to distress the inside pages and elements of the design.

Have fun making your own notebooks and let me know what you think about the project. Don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
Next week I’ll launch some Christmas projects. Every week I’ll be posting ideas for Christmas decorations and Christmas card designs so stay tuned.
Happy crafting and see you soon. ☺
