New from Fiscars

Hello fellow scrap bookers,

I recently became an owner of “all over page” punch from Fiskars. I have to admit it is a great idea for scrap booking but I found some things that bother me a little:

Firstly, when punching the shape it is not really possible to use the negative in another project as the punch makes three rather ugly holes in the paper, which spoils it (for me it is very important to recycle as much as possible in projects).

Secondly, they say in the manual that it is easy to align the punch to make multiple shapes but easier said than done, unfortunately. It takes some time and practice to get used to the system…

Despite the disadvantages it allows the user to punch all over the page as it advertises, so I definitely can see an advantage in that.
Try it for yourselves and let me know what do you think about it.

BTW Martha Stewart has launched her line of all over page punches, I hope to try them in the nearest scrapbook session with my friends. I’ll let you know what I think about her product.

Happy scrap-booking and see you soon.
