Genie in a Bottle

Hi there,

It is getting cold in here. Autumn is knocking on the door. Brrr… I’m waiting impatiently for the colours on the trees… very soon we’ll be picking up chestnuts and roasting them on the BBQ. Enough about the weather and it is time for a new project.

This week I want to share with you little project for a challenge in the “Stamper’s Sampler” magazine. The challenge was a “tempting template” of a perfume bottle.

Here is my creation:

To decorate my bottle I used:

Card stock for a base, Stamping Up Very Vanilla;
Scrap of designer paper (I’m sorry but I lost the name of the fabricant);
Stamps: Hero Arts “Enchante” cling stamp, and BAG from framelits die and stamp “Style is Essential”;
Golden bubbles are a leftover from cutting butterflies;
Ranger Distress ink “Tea Die”, golden embossing powder for the undulated cup, Ranger Perfect Pearls Mist “Forever Red” for the paper dolly;
Glue, 3D foam, scissors and piece of raffia, ribbon flower, bling flower for the hair.

I really like the effect with bubbles, I dropped them on the project by accident and as I was cleaning them up I had an epiphany… I’m a little disappointed that you can’t really see it well on the picture but the designer paper has an amazing texture to it. It was so much fun decorating the bottle, hope you like the project.

Let me know what you think about it, I love constructive comments.
Happy crafting and see you soon. 🙂
