Absolutely vintage

Hello scrap bookers,

I had a little break in posting but I have been working hard on some projects as well as enjoying beautiful autumn. Last weekend I visited my local antique boutique and found some fantastic things I‘m going to use in my future projects. All objects are from the fabulous 20th Art Nuevo style, so Parisian! Each one of them has a story to tell. At the end I decided not to tear the book apart and gave it to my husband who is French, it made me happy to see him so excited and nostalgic about that old encyclopaedia. I love to listen to his family’s history he tells so well and that little book brought back lots of memories.
The postcards, buttons, lace and envelopes are definitely ending up turned into unique pieces of scrap art.
Can you believe that the cost of all those treasures was just a tenner!
