January…Carnival Tag

Hi there,

Another week of the New Year, for me very busy…
I’m working on few new projects, as always at the same time, but it keeps me going and inspired.
As it is carnival UHK Gallery Tag fun this month is tagged with bling! Carnival…Venice, Brazil, masks, ballrooms, lavish balls and dancing, colorful and abundant costumes, mystery and romance in the air… that is what I see when you mention carnival to me.
Unfortunately, this is a last challenge in the tag fun, what a pity and what a wonderful and inspiring year it has been.

Without further ado my carnival tag:

I had so much fun creating that festive tag. I used some of my favourite techniques and media.

For the background I used stencil and gel medium for a resist effect and coloured it with Gelatos.

You can see some sequins, mask, balloons, glitter and some leftover mirror like circles I kept from another project. All my carnival sensations in a nutshell!
