It is time to join in tag fun challenge at UHK Gallery and for the first time Tim Holtz’s 12 tags for 2014 on his blog. This month tags on UHK have to have Tim Holtz products… what a coincidence… oh gosh do I love Tim’s products!
I had so much fun playing with distress paints and water to create drips, splashes and all sorts of fun effects for the background. I think it looks really cool. The colour pallet I chose was rather monochromatic but for me those colours worked the best for “grungy expressionism”.
I must admit that I had the most fun altering the metallic box that I found. The whole process to make it look old, distressed and rusty has been very amusing. I really like the final look what about you?
