Handmade art books fascinate me for a while now, and as this is a celebration I decided to make one to offer you. It is a humble attempt using some of my favourite stamps and techniques. You could keep your favourite inspiring quotes in it. ☺ Here it is:

Handmade books are a form of art and many artists all over the world are creating them as an artistic expression and different approach to book as such. If you would like to learn more and admire some amazing handmade art books I’d recommend couple of volumes:

“1000 Artists’ Books. Exploring the Book as Art” – Sandra Salamony and Peter and Donna Thomas;
“Handmade Books”- Ray Hemachandra;

And if you’d like to have a go and create a unique and out of ordinary book yourself check out this book packed with projects:

“Making Handmade Books: 100+Bindings, Structures and Forms” by Alisa Golden.

Thank you for visiting my blog I hope you had fun, don’t forget to leave a comment to win my candy and next to discover is Andie’s Space. Visit her blog you are in for a treat.

And as you hop along why not to go back to Divas by Design and link your creation. Surprise is waiting for you to celebrate with us!

Have fun, come back soon and happy crafting! 🙂
