DT Buttons and Bows

It is challenge time again at Divas by Design and today we want you to use “Buttons and Bows” in your creations.

My card for you today was made for my best friend’s birthday and I used her favourite colours.
To make it I used:
- Card base 11x15cm;
- Distress Paint (seedless preserves, antique linen, black soot, peeled pain);
- Designer paper – Prima “Printery” for the tag;
- Die- Cheery Lynn “Fanciful Flourish”;
- Button border cut out with my silhouette cameo and painted and distressed with crackle paint and Treasure Gold for some more dimension;
- Butterfly die – Cheery Lynn;
- Stamps- for the background- flower from American Craft acrylic stamp set “Garden District”, for the sentiment- Kesi’art “Never say never” acrylic stamp set;
- walnut stain and tea dye Distress inks;
- Glue, glue dots, 3D foam, button, tweed, fabric flower, white gel pen, black archival ink.

I had so much fun making the card and I think I’m going to use my Distress Paint more often to create unique backgrounds for my cards. I use them a lot in my art journal and I love how they react with water.
