DT Magnolia-licious St Patrick’s Day!

Hi there,

Spring is in the air! Finally sunny and gorgeous weather here in France. And with the spring comes St Patrick’s Day (17th of March if you didn’t know). Unfortunately I’m spending it away from Ireland this year but nonetheless with good Irish music and pint of Guinness… Sláinte!

My card for you today is to celebrate that Irish saint and his emerald island.
At Divas by Design we want you to make a card using ONLY MAGNOLIA STAMPS so look into your stash, get those images out and stamp, stamp, stamp and win goodies from
MAGNOLIA-licious.

To make my card I used exceptionally Magnolia die cut “Vintage Daisies” to give you and idea how you can reuse your dies if you have a silhouette cameo and because I don’t have any Tilda images. It is a tip for your own benefit only I hope you understand what I mean.

Firstly, you cut out your die in black card stock.
Than you scan it.
You transfer your jpeg file into the cameo software and using the Trace Tool you convert it into a silhouette object. When you do that you can benefit from the versatility of cameo, resize your favourite dies and find more use for them in your projects.

To make my card I used:

Magnolia die “Vintage Daisies”;
Sentiment cut out using silhouette cameo in black card stock;
Daisies cut out in green, white and orange card stock;
Designer paper “ Fabulous” by Simple Stories;
Stamp- Celtic Designs by David Balade;
Distress Ink “Walnut Stain”, glue, brad, raffia and gel pens to colour the stamp.

I hope you like that tip and if you’re a happy owner of cameo machine you will try it. If you’d like more detailed tutorial on how to- let me know I’ll be happy to share it with you. Visit Divas by Design for more inspiration from my Design Team colleagues, they have some great ideas for you!
Happy crafting and see you soon. 🙂
