Rocking Album

Hi there,

It’s been a while since my last post. I’ve been busy working on different projects. There’s one in particular that I’d like to share with you today.
I made that mini album for my friend’s birthday. He’s in a band and I thought …what a great idea to make an album and document their last gig in an exciting and funky way.
It all started with a folder. The idea developed into DVD cover album. It measures 16x16cm and has 4 segments bonded by string plus pocket for a DVD from the gig.
I chose neutral colours for the base of the album, as it was easier to create a unique design of each page with a photo. It suggests grungy, graffiti like and simple design that works well with a Rock&Roll theme. I decided to use black and white photos for photojournalistic recording of the event.
I had so much fun making the album and will most definitely use the idea again.
Here are few photos for you to see what the final album turned out to be like.
