Shabby Chic with a Spin

Hi there,

I have one more post for you this week. Let me share with you a little card I made for my friend on her birthday. Recently I received free set of stamps with a crafting magazine and they inspired me to make something retro.

My friend loves history and especially social aspects of it…fashion. I hope she will enjoy my shabby chic card with a spin ;).

To make it I used:

16x16cm (6 ¼’’x6 ¼’’) cream card stock for a base;
Designer Paper: Simple Stories “Documented” and “Lost&Found Two” from
My Mind’s Eye;
Ranger Distress inks: “Tea Die”, “Tumbled Glass” and “Festive Berries” to watercolour the image;
Stamps: Unity Stamp Company “You Are…” ,Papermania free Art Deco clear stamps;
Die: Memory Box “Calypso Flourish”;
Some glue, 3D foam, brads dragonfly bling and feathers.

Ladies from Our Creative Corner have a Shabby Chic challenge for us this week and Divas by Design challenge us with “Girlie stuff”. I know it is last minute but I’d like to join anyway.
Happy scrapbooking and see you soon. 🙂
